There's just aren't many Despatch Motorcycles made for 1/6 scale collectors. This is a custom modified with parts made by myself and also added props to make it look like the real ones in service. This particular bike was actually a display model painted in red and beige. At that time there weren't any real detailed bikes made for the British army. None from Dragon, DiD or ZY Toys. The ones available were the Hasbro Harleys and the Zundapp but badly made. I made some reference check and there were a small number of Indian motorcycles being send to Britain during the war. Some were in the european theatre and some made it to the Middle & Far East (Anzacs) theatres.
